ELFI, Inc. Financial Scholars Program - for high school students in Tennessee

ELFI, Inc. provides the EverFi – Financial Education^TM interactive digital financial literacy program to local students at no cost to the students, schools, or taxpayers.

The eight-hour web-based program uses the latest in new media technology to bring complex financial concepts to life for today’s digital generation. Topics include credit scores, insurance, credit cards, student loans, mortgages, taxes, stocks, savings, 401(k)s and other critical concepts that map to national financial literacy standards. Additionally, students who successfully complete the course are awarded certification in financial literacy, a valuable mark of distinction on college applications and resumes.

ELFI, Inc. Tennessee Board of Regents Financial Wellness Sponsorship - for college students in Tennessee

ELFI, Inc. provides the EverFi – Financial Wellness™ financial education platform to students attending Tennessee Board of Regents institutions at no cost to the students, schools, or taxpayers.

This financial education platform is designed to empower students with skills to understand their finances within and beyond the college experience.

Topics include:

Understanding and managing financial aid
Comprehending spending, banking, and credit decisions
Managing school expenses and avoiding unnecessary debt
Setting long term savings goals
Understanding credit scores, mortgages, and investing
Managing a budget and differentiating “needs” from “wants”

eCampusTours.com makes college a virtual reality at one convenient online location! This college planning website offers virtual college tours with 360° x 360° views of over 1,300 different schools. Established in 2000, eCampusTours.com also features informative articles about college planning, campus life, career exploration, and paying for college. Students can sign up for to receive the eCampusTours College Planning Newsletter, enter to win a $1,000 scholarship, and access free college planning resources.

360° Virtual Tours

eCampusTours.com features 360° virtual tours of over 1,300 college campuses nationwide. Each tour allows you to see what campus life is really like – you can go inside dorm rooms and classrooms, stroll on the quad, and check out the library, all with the click on your screen. For each school, you can view up to 10 different locations. If you like what you see in the virtual campus tour, you can search the college website, contact the college admission office, or save the virtual college tour in your eCampusTours portfolio.

The eCampusTours college planning newsletter is a monthly e-newsletter that assists students and parents with college planning. This free e-newsletter provides reminders about upcoming financial aid deadlines and general college planning information. It includes tips on choosing a college, information about how to apply for financial aid, scholarships, student loans, and other interesting articles about campus life.

Scholarship Giveaway

Visitors to a participating eCampusTours website are automatically entered into the prize drawing for the $1,000 Scholarship Giveaway by completing and submitting an online registration form between the dates specified in the Official Scholarship Giveaway Rules. Students may also enter the sweepstakes by mail. Two winners will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to an institution of higher education which is an Eligible Institution in the Federal Family Education Loan Program under Title IV of the Federal Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended. Winners are selected in a random drawing to be conducted on or about the expiration date.
